Hi there,

My name is Suzanne Dinsmore. Welcome to my blog! I hope to get to know a bit more about you! In the meantime, here is a little bit about me...

I was born 1 minute before my fraternal twin sister, April Hershberger (she is the world's best partner in crime! You should follow her @barnhomeliving), almost 42 years ago. At the age of 2, my parents moved us to the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I am so lucky to have grown up in such a magical place! It taught me about small towns, respect for animals and the environment, a love of the water, and how truly kind and decent most people can be.

I spent about 10 summers at Camp Wright as a camper and a counselor. Camp Wright is an incredible place that helped shape me into the person and leader I am today. I highly recommend hiring former camp counselors, they are flexible, adaptable, and emotionally intelligent.

I am a 2001 graduate of Saints Peter and Paul High School (Go Sabres!). I graduated in 2005 from Salisbury University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. In 2006, I graduated from Chesapeake College with a Paralegal Certificate.

School is not something that came easily to me, so I had to study hard to get decent grades. Once I started working as a Legal Secretary and then Paralegal I realized with hard work I could really be successful. I am now a firm believer that traditional schooling is not perfect for every child. I have also realized that the regular reinforcement of my hard work caused me to become a workaholic, so much so that I would ignore a life threatening condition in order to work (more on that later).

I met my husband, James, on match.com. I needed to send one last email in order to qualify for their 6-month free guarantee. Spoiler alert: I didn't get to use my free 6 months! I am an incredibly proud Mom to my 7 year-old daughter, Jackie! We also have a variety of animals- Sammy the dog, Senator the horse, and 3 tanks of fish.

Thank you so much for reading my blog and being on this journey with me!
